The Initial D Dunks pay tribute to one of the most iconic vehicles in anime and car culture—the AE86 Trueno from Initial D. This custom Nike Dunk Low captures the spirit of the mountain drifting legend with precise detailing and bold contrast.

The upper features white leather underlays with deep black overlays, directly inspired by the AE86’s two-tone exterior. A striking red outsole adds energy to the clean base, while Japanese kanji text—“藤原とうふ店”—appears on the lateral heel, referencing Takumi Fujiwara’s tofu shop.

The design doesn’t just look good; it’s functional, too. The low-cut collar allows for freedom of movement, while the padded tongue adds support and structure. Custom lace options and midsole racing lines complete the look, adding subtle nods to motorsport aesthetics.

This sneaker is ideal for both anime fans and sneakerheads. Whether you grew up watching Initial D or just appreciate clean automotive-inspired design, the AE86 Dunks deliver performance and style. As a custom sneaker, it offers uniqueness without compromising quality.
